Melcalin® Flow

Melcalin Flow is a food supplement containing seeds of red vine with a 95% titre in proanthocyanidins. The active compounds of red vine act on microcirculation improving legs heaviness while vitamin C contributes to the formation of collagen, which is necessary to maintain a good elasticity of the blood vessels. The two compounds also play a very important antioxidant role.

    Description

Melcalin Flow contains dry extracts of seeds of red vine with a high titre in proanthocyanidins (95%), diosmin and hesperidin all compounds belonging to the family of flavonoids, those are substances with excellent antioxidant effects2,3,4,5,6,7 and with protective effects on the cardiovascular system reducing capillary permeability, improving the lymphatic system and coronary vasodilation19,20,21,22 and preventing the oxidation of LDL7,12,3,14,15,16,17,18. The antioxidant action is of considerable importance in cardiovascular diseases because an excess of free radicals is the basis of the physiopathology of many cardiovascular dysfunctions. Vitamin C, in addition to being important for the formation of collagen, which is essential for the maintenance of a good elasticity of blood vessels, is one of the most known antioxidants 1,8,9,10,11,23,24,25,26.

    Fields of application

    • Heaviness and swelling in the lower limbs
    • Improve capillary elasticity and venous circulation
    • Antioxidant
