Melcalin® Bone

Pack: 112 tables
Net Weight: 61.60 g

Melcalin Bone is a dietary supplement with vitamin D, calcium and magnesium which contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D also contributes to normal blood calcium levels and contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus.

Description:

Osteopenia and Osteoporosis are disorders characterized by a reduction in bone mass and a deterioration of the  bone tissue micro-architecture which induces an increased bone fragility, with a consequent increased risk of fracture10,11.
Osteopenia and osteoporosis can be preventes with simple interventions that include proper nutrition, adequate physical activity and appropriate supplementation.
Several studies have demonstrated the fundamental role of calcium and vitamin D for bone health showing that both have the ability to prevent bone loss and to reduce the risk of fractures2,3,7,8,9,10,12.
Equally important is magnesium, the lack of which plays a key role in the onset of osteoporosis; recent studies suggest that a magnesium supplementation increases bone density and stops bone loss in 80% of patients with osteoporosis. In addition, magnesium, plays an important role in the homeostasis of calcium1,4,5,6,13.
