plasma membranes, protein synthesis and cell division.<\/p>\n<p>There are several vitamins and minerals that help the metabolic processes and for every need you can choose the supplementation which is most appropriate for remedying the problems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Melcalin Dimet, Melcalin Nimet and Melcalin Vita<\/strong> are three supplements that, in different ways, assist the food and physical combination with lipid-lowering drugs (for example, bile acid sequestrants) reduced the incidence of cardiovascular events and slowed the progression of coronary lesions<sup>8,9<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>The lipids<sup>19,20,21<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Other compounds with energetic action<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Coenzyme Q10<\/strong> (CoQ10) is an organic molecule useful for the production of energy<sup>28<\/sup>, a deficiency determines both disorders of the respiratory chain, leading to alterations in <strong>energy metabolism<\/strong>, and the decrease in the mitochondrial membrane glycemic load<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The term \u201cmetabolic syndrome\u201d includes a group of risk factors linked to overweight and obesity that increase the likelihood of heart disease and other health problems such as diabetes and stroke.<\/p>\n<p>A lifestyle that includes a <strong>low-glycemic load<\/strong> diet has been shown to improve the metabolic risk profile in men and women: there are more and more studies reporting how low glycemic load diets are able to prevent diabetes, cardiovascular disease and certain types of cancer, including endometrial cancer and esophageal adenocarcinoma (see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.portaledinu.it\/press\/pubblicazioni\/Soggetti_dismetabolici_e_MUS_rev1.pdf\">MUS and subject dysmetabolic<\/a> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.portaledinu.it\/press\/pubblicazioni\/Soggetti_dismetabolici_e_MUS_rev1.pdf\">Obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus, functional gastrointestinal disorders<\/a>)<sup>26,27<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Conclusions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Among the substances useful for improving the metabolism of lipids, carbohydrates and proteins are the <strong>B group<\/strong> vitamins and <strong>folic acid<\/strong>, <strong>minerals such as zinc, copper, chromium and iodine<\/strong> and substances such as <strong>coenzyme Q10<\/strong> (CoQ10) and <strong>L-carnitine<\/strong>; depending on the specific needs you can follow a targeted supplementation.<\/p>\n<p>When you need a combined action on <strong>lipid, carbohydrate and protein
