    Descrizione

    Molte ricerche suggeriscono che un integratore alimentare contenente Chlorella pyrenoidosa può essere utile per mantenere lo stato di salute conservando efficiente il sistema immunitario; l’alga infatti è in grado di portare alla modulazione della risposta immunitaria1,7,8 mediante l’attivazione dei monociti2,3,4,5,6 .
    Chlorella è da considerarsi un buon agente chelante di metalli pesanti quali nichel, rame, cadmio, cromo e 15,16,17,18,19,20,21 12 mercurio; rappresenta inoltre una fonte di vitamine, minerali , proteine e aminoacidi, alcuni dei quali essenziali come lisina, treonina13, leucina, e altri quali alanina, arginina, serina e acido glutammico14 e, data l’alta concentrazione di carotenoidi, anche un buon antiossidante9,10,11.
